A-1 Precision was established in 1973. This year we are celebrating 50 years of great service. Half a century flew by! Can you imagine what we have done in these 50 years? Millions of parts…millions. Yes that is a lot but what can we say, we love what we do and do what we love. What began many years ago has been passed along through the decades.
Bud Sprague a 39 year old man started this family business in a small garage and it evolved to what it is now. Tom Sprague a 16 year old boy started learning the trade from his father in 1973. Years passed and Bud retired in 1998 and Tom Sprague, the current owner took over. But this is not the end. Tom’s son, Jamie Sprague, started in 1996 learning the trade as well. He will be taking over one day, continuing the family legacy. Three generations of excellency. The company switched owners, equipment, and locations but its mission stayed the same. “A-1 strives to continually improve our systems and employees while offering competitive prices and meeting our customers’ expectations.”
Now our shop on 19th court still provides quality service with quality results. Our team works hard to get our customers satisfied. We currently added two machines to our shop. The Fanuc Robodrill D21LiB5 and the Nakamura-Tome AS-200MY. For more information on these two, check out the machinery list on our website. We do not know what the future will look like but we are committed and dedicated to making great products.
